Capitalising on US new media and entertainment opportunities // {AIMIA} {Austrade} {Release}

This event is part of a national initiative conducted between AIMIA and Austrade to further the growth of the digital and creative industries for companies with a global reach, particularly with US expansion:

The US is the largest creator and consumer of online media and entertainment in the world, with a stream of content companies targeting over 300 million consumers.

By 2012 online communities will be the driving force for innovation. Specifically, within the US, interactive marketing spend will grow from $16 billion in 2009 to nearly $55 billion by 2014, with social media expected to have a compounded annual growth rate of 34%, growing from $716 million to nearly 3.1 billion.
